  • 1) What makes Brush On Block a Mineral Sunscreen?Brush On Block contains titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, both of which are well-known, naturally occurring minerals. Both minerals offer broad-spectrum, sunscreening action when used as
directed, and provide some of the safest sun protection available.
  • 2) How long should the original mineral cartridge last? The minerals in your Brush On Block brush should last approximately 3 – 4 months with average use. If you are repeating applications due to swimming or sweating, you may use the product more quickly.
  • 3) Can I wear Brush On Block under makeup? Brush On Block can be worn either under or over make-up or foundation. It is translucent and since it sits on top of the skin’s surface, there is no risk of smudging, running or greasy residue.
  • 4) Is Brush On Block waterproof?Brush On Block is both water and sweat resistant and retains SPF 30 protection after 80 minutes of water activity or sweating.
  • 5) Will Brush On Block irritate my skin like sunscreen lotions do?Since Brush On Block is not absorbed into the skin and sits on top of the skin surface, it is less likely to cause skin irritation, break-outs, or clog pores. It is ideal for both acne-prone and
    sensitive skin.
  • 6) Is Brush On Block safe for children?Brush On Block can safely be applied to children 6 months of age and older. As a matter of fact, many parents have found that Brush On Block is easier to use on kids than many leading lotions, sprays or sticks. For children under 6 months, please check with your doctor.
  • 7) Can I use Brush On Block on my body? Brush On Block can be used on all body parts that are exposed to the sun or that require fast and easy sun protection.
  • 8) Is it safe around my eyes? While Brush On Block should not be placed in the eyes, there is little risk of the product running or dripping into the eye area. To apply to smaller areas around the eyes and nose, slide the
plastic brush sleeve halfway up for more precise application. Brush On Block can be lightly dusted around the eye area and over closed lids.
  • 9) What are the benefits of the botanical ingredients in Brush On Block (i.e. Green Tea Leaf Extract, Safflower Seed Oil, Chamomile Flower Extract, and Honeysuckle)? Green Tea Leaf Extract is a natural antioxidant while Safflower Seed Oil is an emollient that moisturizes and protects the skin and both Chamomile Extract and Honeysuckle help prevent skin inflammation and irritation. Together these botanicals work to enrich, soothe and replenish your exposed skin.

I was very happy with my purchase of the brush on block mineral sunscreen. I can see why this has become so popular and even being endorsed by famous celebrities now. This type of sunscreen offers great sun protection and skin care from UVB and UVA rays which are very damaging to the skin and long exposure can lead to damaged skin or worse cancer. For daily sun protection this a great alternative to anything you’d probably find in drug stores or over the counter. I know that you can currently only get the offer advertised on television from few sites. It also contains from soothing flower oils and antioxidants which protect your skin from free radicals such as Green Tea, Safflower and Honeysuckle. What I liked about Brush on Block is that it’s non-irritating and sweat and water resistant and unlike other sun blocks isn’t a white paste but invisible that you can even apply it over you makeup. Unlike other sunscreens your skin doesn’t absorb the chemicals but its just a mineral makeup that just sits on top of your skin protecting it from the suns rays. It you’re looking for an SPF 30 sunscreen than this is the solution for you if you’re looking for anything higher you’ll probably want to look at other alternatives.

When I was younger I used to just soak in the sun and frequent tanning salons. But like myself, other people are starting become more aware of the effects of extreme sun exposure and sun tanning more products are being released on the market to protect our skin from the suns rays. Even spray on tans have become popular and a product I’ve become accustomed to using as well. Brush on Block was a product I decided to try out and I’m glad I did. This is a great mineral powder that I can apply on my face that isn’t visible unlike most over the counter sunscreens. No need to worry about leaving a residue on your face and brush on block isn’t oily either. If you’re looking for a sunscreen that stays on your face and is water resistant then this is the sunscreen you’ll really appreciate. Brush on block is also hypoallergenic a I’ve gotten skin reactions to other sunscreen creams before. To get skin protection from the sun there is no better product for myself than brush on block.

When I ordered the brush on block I couldn’t wait to try it out. I thought the packaging it came in was nice. The brush on block applicator is very convenient and works well however as far as a great sunscreen I have to say it’s not that effective. I thought I put more than enough on my face and also reapplied it a few times but I still got burned. It doesn’t sweat off because I applied it before I went jogging and when I got back home the powder was still on my skin unfortunately my skin was red. It’s possible that the brush on block works for people who’s skin isn’t as sensitive as mine but one thing is for sure i won’t be ordering more of this product any time soon.
